Terms and Conditions

Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using any of the resources available on the Lingobox Learning website.

These Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure that schools, teachers, families and children have a safe and enjoyable experience with Lingobox Learning.

The information and services on this website are provided by Lingobox Learning Ltd subject to your agreement to the Terms and Conditions below.

Subscribing will entitle you to access and use of all Lingobox Learning website resources. Do not share your login details with other parties or users. Under no circumstances are you permitted to sell or give your user login details to other potential users – for financial gain or not. The registered member for an account is responsible for ensuring that these Terms and Conditions are complied with.

Users agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You will promptly notify us of any known or suspected unauthorised use(s) of your account, or any known or suspected breach of security, including loss, theft, or accidental disclosure of your username and password.

SUBSCRIPTION FEES & RENEWAL
All subscriptions will be pre-paid. Once your subscription purchase payment has been approved your account will be activated for immediate use. Lingobox Learning reserves the right to change the amount of any fees or charges for the online products and services it provides, and to institute new fees by posting such changes on this website.

Lingobox Learning subscriptions are set to renew automatically unless paid by invoice. If you have purchased a subscription online, your account will be billed automatically at the end of your current billing period. For school subscriptions paid by invoice, it is the responsibility of the school to renew before the expiry date. Reminders will be issued before the account is due to expire. You can manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through the Dashboard area of the platform.

REFUND POLICY
Lingobox Learning subscriptions are digital products, and as such, we do not typically offer refunds for individual monthly subscriptions once access has been granted.

However, if you are a school and wish to cancel your annual or invoiced subscription, we offer a 30-day refund guarantee. You must notify us in writing at hello@lingoboxlearning.com within 30 days of your payment date. Please include your name, school name, email address, and reason for cancellation. Upon approval, we will issue a refund via the original payment method.

Refunds will not be issued for any cancellation requests made after the 30-day period.

LOGIN DETAILS
Your access to the service is by username and password. Your login details should not be shared with anyone nor should they be displayed publicly (e.g. on a school website, forum or blog). Once your login details are issued it is your responsibility to keep a record of them. You may not select a username that we, in our sole discretion, deem inappropriate, offensive or easy to guess. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password, and you will be responsible for all uses of your username and password, whether or not authorised by you.

COPYRIGHTS
All materials contained on the Lingobox Learning website (as well as the organisation, colour scheme and layout of the site), are owned and copyrighted by Lingobox Learning Ltd. This means that you may only view or download material from the website for your or your child’s own use provided that you maintain all copyright and other proprietary notices. Modification of the materials or use of the materials for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. No part of the website can be copied, cached or made accessible through links from a website or Intranet. Linking to any page other than the index page (www.lingoboxlearning.com) constitutes a breach of our Terms and Conditions.

DATA PROTECTION
Lingobox Learning is fully committed to upholding your privacy and complying with all applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).  We only collect personal information necessary to deliver our services and do not collect data from children under 13 without parental or school consent.

CYBER SECURITY
We take digital safety seriously. Lingobox Learning is Cyber Essentials certified and fully insured for digital security risks.  Our platform is protected with industry-standard technical safeguards to help prevent unauthorised access, breaches, or data loss.
We continuously monitor and update our systems to ensure a safe and secure experience for all users.

CHANGES TO THE SITE
Lingobox Learning may make improvements or changes in the information, services, products, and other materials on their website, or terminate the service or part of the service, at any time without notice. Lingobox Learning may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement. Accordingly, you agree to review the agreement periodically, and your continued access or use of this site shall be deemed your acceptance of the modified agreement.

LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES
The Lingobox Learning website may include links to other Internet sites solely as a convenience to users. Although these sites have been reviewed, Lingobox Learning does not endorse them and is not responsible for the information, material, products or services they contain. If users believe any of these sites contain inappropriate material, they must immediately inform Lingobox Learning.

DISCLAIMERS
Lingobox Learning strives to keep the information on this site accurate, complete, and up-to-date. However, errors and omissions do occur and you should not take the accuracy of the information for granted. Lingobox Learning aims to correct reported errors within 24 hours. All content and other materials published or otherwise made available through Lingobox Learning are provided “as is” and “as available” and without warranties of any kind, including suitability to a particular purpose. Because of the nature of the service, Lingobox Learning does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted and available at all times. We will not be liable if we are unable to perform our obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to the failure of any machine, data processing system or transmission link or to any circumstances beyond our control.

REMEDIES FOR BREACH
In the event that Lingobox Learning determines, in its sole discretion, that you have breached any portion of these Terms and Conditions, or have otherwise demonstrated inappropriate conduct, Lingobox Learning reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account with Lingobox Learning and/or any other Lingobox Learning related service. We may terminate your account at any time without prior notice if you commit a breach of these Terms and Conditions. No compensation or refund will be issued in these instances.

PRIVACY
Lingobox Learning is committed to protecting the privacy of its members and does not share personally identifiable information with third parties.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not store customer credit card details.

TERMS OF USE
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Disputes arising herefrom shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

ACCESSIBILITY AND TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS
We strive to ensure our website and materials are accessible and functional across devices, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for outages, data loss, or interruptions beyond our control.

FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, power outages, or network failures.

DATA PROTECTION AND SAFEGUARDING
We comply with UK GDPR and all applicable data protection laws. Lingobox Learning does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental or school consent. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

USAGE LICENCE
When you subscribe to Lingobox Learning, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use the resources for personal, home, or classroom use.
You may not copy, share, resell, or distribute these resources without written permission.
All materials remain the intellectual property of Lingobox Learning Ltd.
