12 Language Outcomes, 20 Lessons (Per Year)
Each year group follows the same simple structure: a 20-lesson core programme organised into short blocks with spiral progression, supported by optional enrichment and daily micro-exposure through routines and play. Our approach is designed to be realistic for busy school contexts while ensuring clear progression and high engagement.

🌎 20 core language lessons – approximately 30–45 minutes each, delivered across the school year
🎨 Optional enrichment lessons – seasonal, cultural, story-based and cross-curricular opportunities to deepen learning
🪀 Daily micro-exposure – through classroom routines, play and simple French moments
This structure creates a developmentally appropriate balance: strong foundations, space for consolidation, and joyful enrichment aligned with the school year.
🌟 The Lingobox 12 Language Outcomes
Each year group includes 12 clear language outcomes which describe what most learners can achieve by the end of the year through regular exposure, active learning and playful practice.
Outcomes are supported by weekly Learning Intentions and Success Criteria, and language is revisited throughout the year through a spiral approach which builds confidence, recall and fluency over time.

🌟 The 20-Lesson Core Programme (Per Year)
Each year group follows a 20-lesson core programme designed to be genuinely manageable for teachers, while ensuring clear progression and high-quality learning experiences.
Lessons are designed to last around 30–45 minutes. They can be taught as a single session or broken down into shorter activities across the week. Not every activity is essential every time – teachers can select what best fits their class and available time.
The programme is designed to be followed sequentially across the school year. If you need to pause due to other curriculum demands, events or activities, simply pick up where you left off when you’re ready. The spiral structure ensures learning remains coherent and supportive.
